Halloween is right around the corner, so I figured it would be a great idea to cover some Halloween costumes I found on Pinterest that make me laugh or cringe. Let me know if you laughed or cringed for each of these in the comments.

If you're like me, you enjoy listening and learning about true crime cases on YouTube or through podcasts. Today, I figured I would share a few of my favorite true crime YouTubers and share their channels so you might check them out. These are in no particular order, by the way! BAILEY SARIAN

Because I used official game covers and art from the game company: Copyright Disclaimer under section 107 of the Copyright Act of 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, education and research. I think the only horror-related thing I’ve never talked about here on the blog are horror games. I love them, and I absolutely love watching play-throughs of them, especially those done by some of the jumpier YouTubers. So, I thought in this blog post I could talk about some of the games I and/or my husband have played that I would say are the best horror games out there. 1: LEFT 4 DEAD/LEFT 4 DEAD 2
2: BENDY AND THE INK MACHINE
3: THE EVIL WITHIN 2
4: THE WALKING DEAD
5: DYING LIGHT
If you've been a follower of the blog for long, you'll know that I absolutely love fall! Today, Sept. 22, is the offical First Day of Fall, which has me excited and ready for the months to come. No matter what's going on in the world, I always have a sense of happiness toward the end of the year. The end of the year brings birthdays and holidays that mean lots of family get-togethers and time with the people I love.
HOW WILL YOU CELEBRATE?
Tell me in the comments how you plan to celebrate the first day of fall! Hope you all have a fantastic day today. Please connect with me on social media and remember to also connect over on TikTok @imagoofygabbie.
At the start of the COVID stay-at-home order, no one could seem to get their hands on a Nintendo Switch because so many of us Animal Crossing addicts were buying them up to experience the newest game in the Animal Crossing series, Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The game takes places on an island, where you can build a life, a home (that will put you into major debt), and much more. However, many players have dreams of different updates that would make the game play even more fun than it already is. Here are some of my suggestions: 1. SELF-IDENTIFYING FOSSILS
It would be great, following the donation of all of the fossils, for them to auto identify when you dig them up, so you don’t have to wait through Blathers’ groggy speech when you wake him up. 2. AN INDEX FOR THE ART3. LIST OF DONATED MUSEUM ITEMS4. LAYING TILE/BRICK UNDER BUILDINGS5. MORE UPGRADES TO THE NOOK STORE
6. A COFFEE SHOP7. MORE COMMUNITY EVENTS
8. ABILITY TO THROW PARTIES
9. GETTING BFF's PHOTOS MORE EASILY10. USE CUSTOM DESIGN DOWNLOAD FOR FLAGI am not very talented at creating a flag, and I found some designs I really liked and downloaded them. I was sad to see that I couldn’t use them as my flag design! Help us artistically challenged players by allowing us to use custom designs.
If your family is a lot like mine, you all probably get together with extended family members on Christmas Eve to celebrate together. However, sometimes these get togethers can be boring. So, I wanted to suggest a few games you can play with one another to have some more fun this holiday season! CHRISTMAS JEOPARDY
CHRISTMAS CHARADES
BOARD AND CARD GAME NIGHT
CHRISTMAS TRIVIA GAMES

If you haven't heard, Disney is officially pulling its titles from Netflix in order to draw in customers for its new streaming service, Disney Plus. You may be asking, "why do you care, aren't you like 26?" Yes, I am. But, first of all, that doesn't mean I don't enjoy Disney movies. Second of all, Disney owns a ton of titles that go beyond their cute animated character movies. I've seen several blogs and articles containing predictions about Netflix's future. With Disney Plus charging about $7 a month, and Netflix charging about double that for multiple watchers, Disney Plus seems to be the better deal. In addition, Disney Plus will get back the superhero movies, Disney shows, and a TON of Lifetime movies (let's all shed a tear for having fewer sappy Christmas movies to watch this season). That was the Nickelodeon show from my teenhood, Victorious. I LOVED that show growing up, and I always love to take a walk down memory lane by rewatching old shows. What if, and hear me out here, what if Netflix teamed up to exclusively offer streams of old and new Nickelodeon shows? Since Nickelodeon and Disney are like the N'SYNC and Backstreet Boys of television, I have a good feeling that many people will stay for a chance to see some older Nickelodeon shows (and the newer ones).
If not, I know that Netflix has made strides in their original series. They are really good, and I wouldn't be surprised if the inclusion and continuation of those will keep the subscriptions coming! As for me and my husband, I'm not sure what we're going to do. My wallet says another subscription isn't a good idea. However, it may be something we do down the line when money isn't as tight. What do you think? Would you stay with Netflix if you could watch old Nick shows? Below is a collection of YouTube videos that are perfect for this season. I have added text to clarify where needed. Bunny from Grav3yardGirl is one of my favorite people to watch in this season because she and I have a similar love for Halloween. I love watching her treat bag hauls. She lives in Texas and always has a huge treat bag to give to her trick or treaters! She's done these for years, so you can binge them! I've recently gotten into Sierra Schultzzie and she has been doing some fun Halloween content. There are a ton of YouTubers who are doing Halloween costume videos right now. Honestly, any Loey Lane video is perfect for Halloween. She reads scary stories and Creepy Pastas, so it's a must for this season! Hailey Reese is also another great person to look at for Halloween content. She talks about hauntings and sometimes will read subscriber stories. I debated adding Eleanor Neale to this because she mostly covers true crime. This isn't meant as any disrespect. I am personally fascinated year round with learning more about cases and how the police have and are working to solve them. She also gives the "no disrespect" disclaimer before she covers the story. She has covered solved and unsolved murders with good and bad endings.
This is just a small collection of some of my favorite gamers and their scary games playthroughs. Markiplier has a "3 Scary Games" series on his channel. Daz doesn't post a ton of horror game content, but Jack does.
Be advised that these guys do curse so, if you aren't OK with that, don't watch them! I would recommend that you look for a good horror game or horror game series playthrough to watch this season! 1. Favorite horror or Halloween-themed song?2. Name something you wouldn’t want to run into in a dark forest or in an abandoned building.3. Have you ever played with a Ouija Board?4. Favorite horror monster or villain?5. The creepiest thing that’s ever happened while you were alone?Probably just hearing things and thinking that I'm not alone. 6. If you were dared to spend the night in a “haunted house”, would you do it?7. Are you superstitious?8. Do you ever see figures in your peripheral vision?9. Which urban legend scares you the most?10. Do you prefer gore or thrillers?Thriller movies. They have much more substance than gore films, which are usually just about how much blood can be spilled in each scene. I think those films are questionable and promote a kind of weird scare factor in people. 11. Do you believe in multiple dimensions or worlds?12. Ever made a potion of any sort?13. Do you get scared easily?
14. Have you ever played Bloody Mary?15. Do you believe in demons/the devil?
16. You’re home alone but you hear footsteps in your house, what do you do?17. If you got trapped in one scary movie, which would you choose?18. If you could only wear one halloween costume for the rest of your life, what would you be?Probably something simple like a witch or a vampire. 19. would you ever go to a graveyard at night?20. In a zombie apocalypse what is your weapon of choice?21. Would you rather go to a Halloween party or go trick or treating?22. You’re in a horror movie. Are you the final girl, the first to die, the comic relief, the skeptic, the smart one, or the killer?23. Do you have to watch something happy after watching a horror movie so you can go to sleep? It depends on how scary the horror movie is. If recent horror movies are the case, no. I can usually sleep fine after watching something scary. 24. Whilst watching scary movies, are you the person who yells at the characters, the person with their eyes covered the whole time, or the person who falls asleep?25. Are you the one who gets scared, or the one who does the scaring?I get scared if people scare me in real life, but I also love to do the scaring as well! 26. Favorite scary book?27. How old were you when you saw your first horror movie?I don't know. I was a child. I can tell you that the first horror movies I watched were the Amityville Horror Films. 28. What was your first Halloween costume?29. What are you going to be for Halloween this year?I honestly don't know if I'm going to "be" anything. I have a few options. For trunk-or-treat, I think I am going as "Ariel." 30. If you could have a spooky halloween pet (black cat, owl, bat, rat, wolf), what would you pick?I realized that there are a lot of book worms out there reading blog post day after day about people's favorite books. So, today I wanted to bring you a book review and explanation of my favorite book: "The Outsiders."
Later, a fight escalates to unbelievable heights, leaving some of the greasers on the lam from the law. Now that you have a mini-summary, here are the reasons I like this book so much: NARRATIVE FORMAT IS WELL-WRITTENIT TAKES A SERIOUS LOOK AT CLASSISM
My middle school was a lot like the one described in "The Outsiders." Less than half of the student body was from the poorer side of town. The rest lived in lavish houses by the lake and took their boat out every weekend when it was warm. You could tell that there was some separation between socioeconomic classes in my middle school. I think I love this book so much because I sometimes felt empathy for Ponyboy. IT SHOWS THAT FAMILY CAN BE MORE THAN BLOOD
Growing up, and still to this day, I have had friends who are family. If one of us is hurting, we are both hurting. If one of us needs advice, we are a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear, and a giver of sound advice. I love this about this book. CONCLUSIONIf you haven't checked this book out, you need to! It is such an easy read, and a really great story if I do say so myself! I hope you will let me know what you think of my book recommendation. Thanks so much for reading!
