CHEESE FRIES!
THE PIZZA
I was so surprised at the crispness. I even made sure to compliment the pizza with the cashier. I am so bummed that we waited so long to try this place out. If you're looking for a great pizza (and there are a ton of other options as well), you need to check out Pizza Palace.
Pizza Palace is located at 109 Hope Mills Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304. You can find them on Facebook to get connected with them! If you do go, tell them Gabbie from TheOpinionatedOne.com sent you!

Before we get into this, please remember that these reviews are honest and not paid for in any way. I want to help you decide if you should try or steer clear from restaurants wherever you may be traveling. Let's get started. THE SUNDOWN NACHOS

OTHER FACTORSOne really big thing that stood out to us about this place was the fact that everything, from your drink to your meal, was served on styrofoam plates and in styrofoam cups. For Jonathan, it was weird. He understood that COVID brings some issues, but several other places used regular plates and cups. In fact, he said he felt the added cups and plates would cost the restaurant more. I think there is something about the use of these that cheapen the brand of this restaurant. If the food was stand out, I think it would have been a different story. I will say that there was a framed article about a "local restaurant burning down," so maybe they were just getting re-booted and lost some things in a fire. That's unconfirmed though. With all of that being said, it was a bar. We didn't have any drinks, but that certainly was the main appeal most people had to this place. FINAL THOUGHTSJonathan said that this was an average food experience with elevated prices. This may be because of the closeness the bar had to the beach. For me, I would have to agree. For those three items and two drinks, we ended up paying $40 plus a tip. Sadly, I'd recommend trying something other than this venue if you visit Surfside Beach. This day was a kind of "go with the flow" say, so we just went where the traffic took us. If you try a great restaurant in Surfside, let us know. I'm sure we will be back in the future!

OVER-ALL IMPRESSIONMy over-all impression is that this is the perfect place for a date night. Even though Jonathan and I were able to spend the evening with other bloggers, it was nice to sit across from one another and enjoy some truly tasty food. The location is also great. Bonefish Grill is located near the mall and close by to several hotels. If you're stopping in or visiting Fayetteville, N.C., make sure to make plans to eat at this wonderful establishment, and let them know that Gabbie and Jonathan from TheOpinionatedOne.com sent you! I'm excited to bring you all another review from a restaurant pretty much everyone I know raves about. After living near this restaurant for years, we finally took the leap and tried it for the first time last Sunday. Enjoy this picture of me on the waiting bench that looked like a vintage car seat. THE ATMOSPHERE
FINAL FOODIE THOUGHTSJonathan: "It was fairly priced for what we had. The food was good and a great atmosphere. If you're looking for a good time to watch a game outside of your house, Bubba's 33 is the place to go."
As for me, I agree that the prices were fair. I was particularly happy to see that they had brunch specials on Saturday and Sunday. Here I was thinking that there weren't many brunch places in my area! I am certainly looking forward to going back for some different food and possibly staying for a game. We forgot to mention that there is both inside and outside seating as well as a set of cornhole boards for entertainment while you wait for your food. Have you tried Bubba's 33? If so, what do you think? Tell us in the comments. Welcome to a new "series" of sorts here on the blog. Jonathan and I will be going to new restaurants and reviewing them. This was a short-lived cooking series on our channel a few years ago. Who knows, maybe it will come back. For now, let me give you your foodie fix with Fayetteville's newest breakfast/brunch/lunch hot spot: First Watch. Jonathan and I were served complementary meals. The VIP Friends and Family Weekend Sneak Peek worked as a training exercise for the employees and doubled for us as a means of review of the restaurant for the blog. I was in no way compensated for my opinions or review. THE ATMOSPHEREWe were one of the first groups of the day on the restaurants special friends and family weekend. The staff were super sweet, which made the modern southern decor even sweeter. We were seated almost immediately. Our server was amazing. What was even better was that other staff who were there for the training were always making sure to clear the table of dishes and always asked us how our food was or how our experience was going. The seating was super comfortable, as well. Overall, the atmosphere was perfect for Saturday breakfast or brunch. I'm so excited to have a brunch place in our city that is so close to us! THE COFFEE

OUR MEALS
FINAL THOUGHTSI really enjoyed everything about this restaurant. We left with our plates cleaned and our bellies full. We are super excited to come by at brunch on Sundays after we get out of our church's early service.
Both of us would recommend that you check out First Watch as soon as possible, because we're sure that it's going to be busy for quite a while. It is open to the public. Go check it out for your own foodie fix! We hope these photos made you hungry. Tell them Gabbie and Jonathan sent you! |
