We all know that not all bad guys are truly bad. In fact, as we get older, we may see a point to some of the “evil” things these characters do. Let’s get started on the list of seven villains or antiheroes that may have actually had a good point. 1. THANOS - MCU
I think we see this as villainous because obviously people’s loved ones were taken from them, which is sad from a sentimental standpoint, but Thanos is obviously making sacrifices himself, as he sacrificed Gamora himself to make the snap possible. 2. SQUIDWARD - NICKELODEON
And, of course, Squidward is to be admired for not putting up with crap he doesn’t like. If SpongeBob and Patrick would leave him out of their goofy antics, he wouldn’t care what they did, and wouldn’t have to tell them off for annoying him. We love you, Squidward! 3. KILLMONGER - MCU
4. MAGNETO – X-MEN FRANCHISE
5. THE WICKED WITCH OF THE WEST – WIZARD OF OZ
6. PATTY AND NED – SCHOOL OF ROCK
7. THE SANDERSON SISTERS – HOCUS POCUS 2

I love to do crafts, and I know that there are a lot of moms and teachers out there looking for some fun activities to do with the children in their lives this season. I hope you enjoy these eight pins from Pinterest!
Let's Get Social:I'm going to be honest, today's video will include a few "hot takes" that may make some people a bit angry. However, I'm bearing my soul here. Today, I want to talk about heroes from movies and literature who were really the villains in my opinion. Let's get started: GRANDPA JOE - WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORYCAPTAIN AMERICA - MARVEL STUDIOS
GABRIELLA - HIGH SCHOOL MUSICALThe musical is obviously Sharpay's life, so of course it is sad when Gabriella comes in and takes the part, even when she wasn't really that interested in it in the first place. Secondly, throughout the series, Gabriella gets in the way of Troy achieving his goals. It starts with bonding with his team, and then she makes him feel bad for going after an opportunity with college basketball scouts. A non-supportive girlfriend and person? Nah. PETER - PETER PANThere's also a theory that the pirates are all people who escaped Neverland but came back to stop Peter from kidnapping more children. Maniac luring babies from their families? Nah! FERRIS BUELLER - FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFFA friend who gaslights you into committing crimes for a day away from school? Nah. ROSE - TITANICDANIEL HILLARD - MRS. DOUBTFIRE
An ex who dresses up as a woman to invade your personal space under the guise of seeing his kids? Nah! Comment down below what movie hero or antagonist is really the villain, or tell me which one on this list you never realized was bad until today. Thanks for reading! If you're looking for something to get your heart racing and challenge your mind, these video games might be the answer. Check out today's post about five of the best horror video games on the market today. 1: WHAT REMAINS OF EDITH FINCH
2: OUTLAST II
This game is the type of game that will leave you looking over your shoulder constantly. There aren’t creatures as much as there are back-woods hillbillies with dangerous beliefs that are looking to kill anyone who doesn’t measure up to their standards of belief. 3: THE EVIL WITHIN 2
4: UNTIL DAWN
5: BENDY AND THE INK MACHINE

Who doesn’t love a good party? Especially around such a fun holiday like Halloween. Today, I want to share with you all of the resources you need to throw the best Halloween party.
1: CHOOSE YOUR DATE, TIME, LOCATION AND THEME
As far as a theme, you could do anything from a costume party with a specific theme like Twilight or creepy monsters. After you choose this, make sure you note the information so you can follow the next step.
2: MAKE AND SEND YOUR INVITES
3: DECORATE
4: MAKE OR BUY SNACKS AND FOOD
One of the best things you can do is make some cute food or snacks for your party. I’ve done a number of these for Halloween in years past, and I may have more coming up. You can find them on my YouTube channel, but below I’ve linked one of my favorites!
5: PLAN THE ENTERTAINMENT
Additionally, there is nothing better than a few awesome Halloween party games or costume contests. Get some prizes and do monster trivia or murder mystery games like Clue.
6: HAVE A HOWLIN’ GOOD TIME
Unfortunately, COVID-19 has continued to be a problem, making this the second Halloween that has been impacted by the virus. I don't even know if anyone did "trick-or-treating" last year, or if it was even allowed by various cities. But, in case this is still the case or if you don't feel comfortable handing out candy or taking your kids out, here are a few ideas: 19. Play with makeup and create Halloween looks
20. Turn yourself into a toilet paper mummy Below is a collection of YouTube videos that are perfect for this season. I have added text to clarify where needed. Bunny from Grav3yardGirl is one of my favorite people to watch in this season because she and I have a similar love for Halloween. I love watching her treat bag hauls. She lives in Texas and always has a huge treat bag to give to her trick or treaters! She's done these for years, so you can binge them! I've recently gotten into Sierra Schultzzie and she has been doing some fun Halloween content. There are a ton of YouTubers who are doing Halloween costume videos right now. Honestly, any Loey Lane video is perfect for Halloween. She reads scary stories and Creepy Pastas, so it's a must for this season! Hailey Reese is also another great person to look at for Halloween content. She talks about hauntings and sometimes will read subscriber stories. I debated adding Eleanor Neale to this because she mostly covers true crime. This isn't meant as any disrespect. I am personally fascinated year round with learning more about cases and how the police have and are working to solve them. She also gives the "no disrespect" disclaimer before she covers the story. She has covered solved and unsolved murders with good and bad endings.
This is just a small collection of some of my favorite gamers and their scary games playthroughs. Markiplier has a "3 Scary Games" series on his channel. Daz doesn't post a ton of horror game content, but Jack does.
Be advised that these guys do curse so, if you aren't OK with that, don't watch them! I would recommend that you look for a good horror game or horror game series playthrough to watch this season! 1. Favorite horror or Halloween-themed song?2. Name something you wouldn’t want to run into in a dark forest or in an abandoned building.3. Have you ever played with a Ouija Board?4. Favorite horror monster or villain?5. The creepiest thing that’s ever happened while you were alone?Probably just hearing things and thinking that I'm not alone. 6. If you were dared to spend the night in a “haunted house”, would you do it?7. Are you superstitious?8. Do you ever see figures in your peripheral vision?9. Which urban legend scares you the most?10. Do you prefer gore or thrillers?Thriller movies. They have much more substance than gore films, which are usually just about how much blood can be spilled in each scene. I think those films are questionable and promote a kind of weird scare factor in people. 11. Do you believe in multiple dimensions or worlds?12. Ever made a potion of any sort?13. Do you get scared easily?
14. Have you ever played Bloody Mary?15. Do you believe in demons/the devil?
16. You’re home alone but you hear footsteps in your house, what do you do?17. If you got trapped in one scary movie, which would you choose?18. If you could only wear one halloween costume for the rest of your life, what would you be?Probably something simple like a witch or a vampire. 19. would you ever go to a graveyard at night?20. In a zombie apocalypse what is your weapon of choice?21. Would you rather go to a Halloween party or go trick or treating?22. You’re in a horror movie. Are you the final girl, the first to die, the comic relief, the skeptic, the smart one, or the killer?23. Do you have to watch something happy after watching a horror movie so you can go to sleep? It depends on how scary the horror movie is. If recent horror movies are the case, no. I can usually sleep fine after watching something scary. 24. Whilst watching scary movies, are you the person who yells at the characters, the person with their eyes covered the whole time, or the person who falls asleep?25. Are you the one who gets scared, or the one who does the scaring?I get scared if people scare me in real life, but I also love to do the scaring as well! 26. Favorite scary book?27. How old were you when you saw your first horror movie?I don't know. I was a child. I can tell you that the first horror movies I watched were the Amityville Horror Films. 28. What was your first Halloween costume?29. What are you going to be for Halloween this year?I honestly don't know if I'm going to "be" anything. I have a few options. For trunk-or-treat, I think I am going as "Ariel." 30. If you could have a spooky halloween pet (black cat, owl, bat, rat, wolf), what would you pick?Halloween is rapidly approaching. As I was brainstorming ideas for Blog-tober, I thought that it would be a unique idea to take some Halloween personality and trivia quizzes and share with you my results. If you want to take these quizzes for yourself, just click the heading and they will open in a separate tab or page. If you'd like, I'd love to hear your results, so leave a comment with your results, or Tweet me! Without further ado, let's get into these quizzes and results! TEST YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF SCARY POP CULTUREI'm sad that I did so poorly on this one. Turns out, I don't know as much about scary pop culture as I thought I did. How did you do? WHAT SHOULD YOU BE FOR HALLOWEEN?
According to this quiz, I should dress up as an "Adult Beef Taco." The revelation of this result was followed by "You believe a well balanced-diet involves having a taco in each hand, so just go ahead and dress up like one!" I can't argue with it there! WHICH HALLOWEEN CREATURE ARE YOU?It says "for you, nothing beats hanging around..." OK... "You're also loud, strong, and have an excellent sense of hearing. You come off as annoying from time to time, but that's only because you don't like being alone." Awww, I'm annoying? WHICH CLASSIC HORROR MOVIE VILLAIN ARE YOU?
who was burned alive by vengeful parents after he murdered children. Death doesn't let Freddy stop him from exacting his revenge on the people of the town and he uses sleep to get into children's heads to kill them. On top of being determined, you're pretty creative and always find the most interesting ways to solve your problems." I knew I was creative, but I never imagined it would link me to a murderer! WHICH HALLOWEEN PARTY STEREOTYPE ARE YOU?
WHICH DISNEY VILLAIN ARE YOU?

I haven't had the pleasure of having my own children just yet, but I know that many parents struggle around Halloween to find activities to do with their children that aren't inappropriate for their age. After all, Halloween is all about the scares, gore, and spooky creatures. I could totally understand why this would scare a child. So, as a huge fan of movies, I always think a movie night is the perfect way to get into the Halloween spirit. However, watching kid cartoons can be rather boring for you. To make it easier for my readers who are parents, I wanted to highlight some of my favorite Halloween movies that are kid- and adult-friendly as well as provide a list of movies that I think could work. You can find that list at the bottom of the page! Let's get started! GOOSEBUMPS (2015)I'm a bit biased, but I love Jack Black! When Goosebumps came out in 2015, I had to get to the theater to see it. As an adult, I really enjoyed the movie. I also think that children will also enjoy this movie. It isn't too spooky and has a great twist waiting for you at the end! PLOT: Zach Cooper has just moved from his big city lifestyle to a small town where his mother will be the principal at his new school. He meets Hannah, his neighbor. Zach becomes fearful for Hannah's safety as he notices that her father is very strict about her leaving the home. After hearing a ton of scary sounds, Zach breaks into Hannah's house and finds original copies of R.L. Stine's "Goosebumps" series. But when they open the book to check it out, they unleash Stine's imaginative monsters. Will they return the masters to their books? Watch to find out! THE HAUNTED MANSION (2003)Eddie Murphy provides so much comic relief in The Haunted Mansion that you'll forget that its even supposed to be spooky! PLOT: Jim Evers is a real estate agent looking to make the big bucks. He decides to take his wife Sara and kids out for a vacation. But, because of his workaholic nature, he stops by a creepy mansion he had gotten a call about earlier. Sara goes missing and Jim quickly learns that the creaks in the floor boards aren't the house settling, but are rather the hundreds of ghosts haunting the mansion. He and his kids go on a quest to find his wife and save the ghosts of Gracey Manor! COCO (2017)If you're looking for a cute animated film, Coco is one of my favorite. It really captures Latin culture and Dia de Los Muertos, which I don't believe was actually highlighted in a film like this before.
CASPER (1995)This one is certainly a throwback, but Casper is such a great kid-friendly Halloween movie. I mean, he is Casper the FRIENDLY ghost after all!
HOCUS POCUS (1993)This Disney film has become near synonymous with Halloween, which many people cuddling up in their beds throughout the season to enjoy the movie, starring Bette Middler and Sarah Jessica Parker. PLOT: Max and his family move to Salem, Mass. and decide to check out the Sanderson Sister's home. Max lights a candle and it awakens the sisters, who are dedicated to sucking the lives out of the children of Salem to preserve their youth. Max, his sister Dani, and Max's friend Allison spend Halloween night trying to stop the witches with the help of Bynx, a magical cat who was once a boy! Will they triumph over the witches? Watch to find out! OTHER MOVIE IDEAS- The Halloweentown Series - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial - The Scooby Doo Movie - Hotel Transylvania (one and two) - Monsters vs. Aliens - It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown - The Shrek Series - Ghostbusters - The Addams Family - Corpse Bride - Monsters, Inc. and Monsters University - The Nightmare Before Christmas - The Harry Potter Series - Gremlins CONCLUSIONI hope you enjoyed this list of kid-friendly movies that you will also enjoy as a parent. I hope you have a great weekend and spend some of the time watching these flicks!
