If you've been on the blog for a while, you probably know that 2018 was a transformative year for me. I've lost nearly 30 pounds just by changing my diet. However, I'm at a plateau in my weightloss journey. I thought I could go ahead and make a resolution list of my health journey goals for the year. It will be good to look back on later! START USING MY EXERCISE BALL INSTEAD OF MY ROLLY CHAIRThe ball is somewhat unstable, so it forces you to engage your core more than sitting in a regular chair would. I think this will also help me with my posture (I hope)! TAKE BETTER CARE OF MY SKINTo begin, it just doesn't look cute. I already have reddish skin thanks to my Irish heritage, but the disorder makes it worse! The main reason, though, is that I am positive that a ton of bacteria and germs are crawling through my system when I do pick at these things. Wish me luck and pray for me as I go on this journey! EAT BETTER FOODS
EXERCISE MOREI do want to either take her on more walks or play with her outside more. If I can manage to, I would love to get to the gym a few times a week, especially now that we have a gym with a pool in it. I think pool exercises might be a great option for me! WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS?These are four of my main health/fitness goals for 2019. I want to know what goals you're trying to reach this year. Let me know in the comments below. Be sure to follow me on Instagram and Twitter @gemusiclover to follow my progress.

Awesome! Great goals, and I'm sure your dog will love more playtime! 2018 was a transformative year for me too -- I listened to a book called How Not to Die, about the top 15 chronic disease in the US today. Very inspirational! My goal for 2019 is to keep committed to what I learned in the book!

Wow, I need to check that book out! I am also hoping to get fit so my husband and I can have a child. That's been a big motivation for me, but I've plateaued in my weight loss, so I need to figure out my next step!

Check your library. We listened to it first on CDs from the library -- then bought the book and the cookbook. I highly recommend. Keep working on those fitness goals -- a baby is worth it! Actually YOU'RE worth it! :)
