THE HALLOWEEN QUESTION TAG - 2019

1. Favorite horror or Halloween-themed song?

​2. Name something you wouldn’t want to run into in a dark forest or in an abandoned building.

If I am by myself, I wouldn't want to run into anything. I guess I would say a serial killer? But, to be honest, If I run into absolutely anything when I'm in a dark forest or an abandoned building by myself, it will creep me out.

It could be a harmless bunny and I'd still run for the hills.

​3. Have you ever played with a Ouija Board?

Nope. Absolutely not. And I never will. I really don't see the appeal in playing a potentially dangerous game. I don't care if you believe it or not, just the stories alone should show you that it isn't a good idea. I don't recommend it at all!

​4. Favorite horror monster or villain?

OK, if we're talking classic horror monster, I like Frankenstein's monster. If we're talking about villains, the worst one that comes to mind would be Negan from The Walking Dead. He is the most evil character I think I've ever seen in a TV series.

​5. The creepiest thing that’s ever happened while you were alone?

Probably just hearing things and thinking that I'm not alone.

​6. If you were dared to spend the night in a “haunted house”, would you do it?

​7. Are you superstitious?

So, yes and no. I don't freak out around black cats and things like that, but I do believe that things happen that just can't be explained. 

I will admit that the image of a broken mirror or the thought of someone walking under a ladder. 

​8. Do you ever see figures in your peripheral vision?

Sure. I think a lot of people have experiences like these. For me, I think I usually look at the area directly to find that it is an object rather than an entity...

​Or is that just what they want us to think?

​9. Which urban legend scares you the most?

Black-eyed children. Apparently, black-eyed children have been around for hundreds of years. They are said to be demons inside of children. 

​The good news is that they can only hurt you if you invite them inside of your car or your home.

​10. Do you prefer gore or thrillers?

Thriller movies. They have much more substance than gore films, which are usually just about how much blood can be spilled in each scene. I think those films are questionable and promote a kind of weird scare factor in people.

​11. Do you believe in multiple dimensions or worlds?

I haven't really thought about it too much, but I don't really see a point in discrediting it. I feel like we would probably have had contact with those worlds or dimensions by now, but who knows. I hope science can help us figure out this age-old question!

​12. Ever made a potion of any sort?

Not in real life. I've made "potions" in the games that I play to heal my character or to advance in the game somehow.

​13. Do you get scared easily?

It really just depends on the situation for me. I don't usually get scared watching or listening to something. If I am actually experiencing it, I can sometimes find myself getting scared. 

Growing up, I was taken to a haunted house pretty much against my will. Since that, I've hated going to them. I think I get more spooked by jump scares in real life, so long as I know the person doing the scaring is just doing a job and not a creepy person pretending to scare!

​15. Do you believe in demons/the devil?

I do. But, I don't think the devil looks the way that he does to the left. The devil was God's angel. He would have been beautiful.

I also feel like demons are very real, but a lot of people say that something is a demonic presence when it might not be. I've heard people call different things in their life a demon when really it was probably just a bad choice. But, what do I know?

​16. You’re home alone but you hear footsteps in your house, what do you do?

My mind would probably immediately think that there was someone in my house as an intruder.

​My jerk reaction would be to call 911 and hide somewhere that had a lock on the door. I would try to be as quiet as possible.

​17. If you got trapped in one scary movie, which would you choose?

I don't think anyone would WANT this, but if I had to choose, I guess I would choose The Ring because I wouldn't be stupid and watch it after all of the stories that happened. 

​18. If you could only wear one halloween costume for the rest of your life, what would you be?

Probably something simple like a witch or a vampire.

19. would you ever go to a graveyard at night?

​20. In a zombie apocalypse what is your weapon of choice?

I would choose something like a machete because it doesn't need ammo or gas. The biggest issue with it is that it is a close-range weapon, so you'd have to be close to the zombies to use it. 

However, Michonne from the Walking Dead is THRIVING and swords are her weapon of choice so, I'm diggin it!

​21. Would you rather go to a Halloween party or go trick or treating?

22. You’re in a horror movie. Are you the final girl, the first to die, the comic relief, the skeptic, the smart one, or the killer?

I would say that I'm probably the smart one. Usually, these people find themselves in dumb situations like walking into an abandoned house or not just getting in their car and leaving. I'd be gone at the first sign of trouble!

​23. Do you have to watch something happy after watching a horror movie so you can go to sleep?

It depends on how scary the horror movie is. If recent horror movies are the case, no. I can usually sleep fine after watching something scary. 

24. Whilst watching scary movies, are you the person who yells at the characters, the person with their eyes covered the whole time, or the person who falls asleep?

I'm usually yelling at the screen because they're usually doing something pretty stupid that no logical, thinking human being would do!

​25. Are you the one who gets scared, or the one who does the scaring?

I get scared if people scare me in real life, but I also love to do the scaring as well!

​26. Favorite scary book?

I would say some book of Edgar Allan Poe poetry. He is my favorite poet. He wrote such creepy things. I think my favorite is the Tell-Tale Heart, but I also like The Raven.

I haven't read many scary books. Leave me a recommendation at the end of this blog post!

​27. How old were you when you saw your first horror movie?

I don't know. I was a child. I can tell you that the first horror movies I watched were the Amityville Horror Films.

​28. What was your first Halloween costume?

I actually didn't know this. I asked my mom and she said that I was a witch. I was born Oct. 1 and it was my first ever Halloween costume!

​29. What are you going to be for Halloween this year?

I honestly don't know if I'm going to "be" anything. I have a few options. For trunk-or-treat, I think I am going as "Ariel."

​30. If you could have a spooky halloween pet (black cat, owl, bat, rat, wolf), what would you pick?
