Welcome to the 14 Days of Love series! Each day, I will be sharing the answers that were given to me by 14 content creators that I connected with on social media. Today is Day 8, and our feature is Jo-Anne Kazibwe. Jo-Anne is a blogger based in England who typically blogs on the topics of style, advice, life, and travel. Here's a bit more about her: I asked each of my featured creators to answer a few questions for me. Check out Jo-Anne's answers below and head on over to her blog, www.JoKazibwe.co.uk, to read, comment, and show some love! Q: WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR BLOG?I love the fact that I can make it mine, my style, and write about what I want to – it’s like a small expressive corner you can share with others that maybe on a day to day basis you do not have a chance to let out. I work in the corporate field so my chances of being creative are slim and this helps me to explore and develop that side of me. Q. WHAT DO YOU HOPE PEOPLE WILL KNOW YOU AND YOUR BLOG FOR?Being real and down to earth. So many these days (not all) put on a pretense just to get followers and people to like them. I would love to people to know me for being someone who is unapologetically myself, who shows the reality of life and not just glam it up to make it look like I am living a kind of life I’m not. I feel like showing what life is really about and keeping this real is so important. Q. WHAT TOPICS DO YOU MOST LOVE TO COVER ON YOUR BLOG?I would love to cover topics that cover food and things to do with the home, money saving but also skincare, affordable style and dabble in some beauty too. I would say I’m a bit of all rounder but my main core is life, home care, budgeting, the journey of being a wife and a home maker. Q. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE POST AND WHY?
Q. WHO ARE YOUR INSPIRATIONS AND WHY DO YOU LOVE THEM?One of my inspirations is Samantha Maria because I find her so real, I have watched her for many years and whereas majority of YouTubers and bloggers tend to change I don’t feel like she has. Her flaws and shortfalls are on display and she doesn’t try to hide them which I really respect – she’s relatable. I also find her extremely humble despite the success she’s having, she has stayed really grounded which I admire. Q. DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE FOR OTHER BLOGGERS?I would say that if you are looking to also enter blogging, or YouTube or whatever creative channel you desire, just go for it. I was very scared to put myself out there because of what people might say but if that is the passion and desire you have, why are you going to limit your abilities and skills because of others. Do what you have always wanted to do, regardless you will always have lovers and always have haters – your happiness is what is important. FINAL WRAP-UPJo-Anne Kazibwe | www.JoKazibwe.co.uk
