Welcome to the 14 Days of Love series! Today is the last day I will be sharing the answers that were given to me by 14 content creators that I connected with on social media. I'm so sad to see it end, but so happy for the many creators who were featured!
Today is Day 14, and our feature is Samantha from Smack Of Flavor. She strives to present readers with delicious recipes and tips to help them learn to cook with a "smack of flavor!" Here's more about Samantha:
I asked each of my featured creators to answer a few questions for me. Check out Samantha's answers below before heading over to SmackOfFlavor.com to get "Recipes without fluff but with plenty of cheese." Sounds like my kind of food!
Q: WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR BLOG?
I love being able to talk to people about food. Cooking is such a passion of mine, and I love sharing it with others.
Q. WHAT DO YOU HOPE PEOPLE WILL KNOW YOU AND YOUR BLOG FOR?
I hope people will see my authenticity. I don't want to bombard them with fluff recipes or fad concepts but really help people cook better. You learn to cook with concepts as much as recipes.
Q. WHAT TOPICS DO YOU MOST LOVE TO COVER ON YOUR BLOG?
I love the blog posts as much as the recipes. Lately I've been doing a meal prep blog series and I love getting feed back from readers. It's great to see I can help people eat healthier and cook more at home.
Q. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE POST AND WHY?
Q. WHO ARE YOUR INSPIRATIONS AND WHY DO YOU LOVE THEM?
I learned a lot about food photography from Joanie Simon at the Bite Shop on YouTube. Her videos helped me take my photos to the next level and I'm constantly learning from her expertise. Also for cooks I love Alex Guarnaschelli. Her food always looks amazing and she's such a fierce competitor. She's an inspiration as a woman and as a cook.
Q. DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE FOR OTHER BLOGGERS?
I'd tell people to keep growing and keep learning. I am constantly listening to podcasts and videos, reading articles and cookbooks trying to learn. And just because someone does a food blog one way doesn't mean you have to follow in their footsteps. Make it your own!
