Organization can improve your sleep, reduce stress, improve your relationships, reduce depression and anxiety, and make you more productive, according to intermountain healthcare.org. With benefits like these in 2022, why wouldn't you want to get organized? Let's hop into my plan for staying organized in 2022.
GET A PLANNER
SET SOME GOALS
DON'T SAVE CHORES FOR THE WEEKEND
I usually feel pretty exhausted at the end of the day, but I'm making it a goal to do one thing each day when I come home before I go into relax mode.
This could be unloading and reloading the dishwasher, washing laundry, or cleaning up one area of your house. You could even set a timer and clean for just that small amount of time.
This will reduce the clutter in your home and make you feel more organized.
PUT YOUR THINGS AWAY RIGHT AWAY
However, I still haven't unpacked. No matter if it is unpacking your suitcase after a trip, or even just unpacking and storing your groceries right after returning from the store, doing this can keep you organized.
If you leave things out, your home will become more cluttered and chaotic. Put things away right away.
